All placements/host organisations are currently located in and around Siem Reap as this is where Interweave is based.

Your placement will be influenced by your skills, education, experiences and preferences as well as accounting to the needs of the projects at the time.

All current placements are within the Education sector. Your main role as a volunteer will be to help teach English at your project, which could be a day care, school, college or community center in or around Siem Reap. Along with teaching English, volunteers could use their skills to help in the following areas at the projects:

• Arts, crafts, and musical development
• Sports coaching
• IT education
• Health and hygiene programs
• Social work
• Physiotherapy and rehabilitation
• PR, marketing and fundraising

Previous experience of teaching and/or working with children/young adults is preferred by most organisations.
